Illusion

This canvas was created using Gesso and blue paint with the intention of it being a very textured first layer.  However, when I looked at the picture I took of it and it looked different than the actual canvas, I knew something strange had happened.  Somehow, the painting can appear puffy in pictures while in real life it is flat.  My eyes can see it both ways in pictures, sometimes going back and forth. While I wanted to add more to this design, I’ve decided to leave it as it is due to the cool illusion it creates!
